Letter from Jay CuttsDear College Student,I'm a specialist in graduate and professional school admissions. For over 15 years I've helped students around the US and the world to accomplish their dreams of getting into competitive law, business, graduate and medical school programs. I help you in two ways. The first is to teach you how to submit a powerful and successful application that highlights the qualities that make you a superior candidate. You can succeed at this even if your GPA and experience seem average to you. Much of the information that I have available on this is completely free. This year I am teaching a free live web video seminar especially for San Diego students to go over some of the most important aspects of preparing for graduate or professional school admissions. The second way that I help you is to prepare you as well as possible for your entrance exam - the LSAT, GRE, GMAT and MCAT. (The MCAT program does not teach science review but focuses on advanced testing and timing strategy for the science sections and the Verbal Reasoning that commercial companies don't cover.) These exams are quite learnable and I've helped literally over a thousand students to get their best possible score. Unlike the big commercial companies, I use no hired instructors. Every student works with me directly one on one as much as they need, in addition to working with my classroom materials. I do this work full time and teach a wide array of insights into the test itself and into testing strategy and timing strategy, along with individualized strategies based on each person's learning style. Because of my long, full time test prep experience and my background in education, linguistics and individualized instruction, my strategies go into much more depth than what is taught in commercial programs. My fee is usually about half of what you would pay for the large national companies, even for unlimited help. I'll be teaching live classes on the LSAT, GRE and GMAT this year in San Diego. See here for details. I also offer individual tutorials for MCAT strategy prep. You don't need to attend the Orientation in order to attend the prep classes. However, you do need to be on one of the Track lists to be notified when classes start. I have free comprehensive email newsletters that address both admissions planning and test preparation. The newsletters actually step you through each month of your undergrad career with suggestions of what to be doing now and instructions on how to do it. These are called Lawtrack, Gradtrack, MBAtrack and Medtrack. You can sign up on them here:

Our program emphasizes specialized and advanced testing and timing strategies for the science sections, the Verbal Reasoning and the essay. These are strategies that are not taught in commercial MCAT prep courses such as Kaplan and Princeton Review. While we do not teach full science review classes outside of New Mexico, our MCAT program can supplement your own science review. We can also help you arrange an independent science review with our science instructors. There may or may not be live classes along with the MCAT prep program in San Diego. See more details here.
