What's on this page?
Dear College Student,
As an advisor in private practice since 1990,
I've helped several thousand students around the world develop
and carry out a successful plan for getting accepted into a
graduate or professional program. On this site, I want to give
you access to my best free planning tools, including the monthly
Track list planning services, which guide you month by month
through up to four undergrad years. The Tracks email you each
month with instructions on what you should do that month and
how to do it. They also refer you to your master planning schedule,
where you can make sure you are on track.
I also have a free booklet for you, entitled How
to Get Accepted to Graduate or Professional School - A Take-Charge
Approach. You get this book instantly when you sign up
on one of the Track lists.
In addition to free planning help, I am available on a fee
basis to work with you individually through a private coaching
program. I work with a relatively small number of students each
year, helping you prepare for the LSAT, GRE, GMAT, MCAT or PCAT
and guiding you in putting together a powerful application,
including your Personal Statement, Letters of Recommendation
and special strategies for standing out from the crowd.
Just a word about preparation for the entrance exams. These
exams are in most cases a critical obstacle that you have to
overcome in order to be competitive. Using my background in
linguistics and education and my years of experience working
closely with students from a wide range of educational and cultural
backgrounds, I address each student's personal learning style
and ways of processing information and guide you toward developing
more effective techniques.
We address issues including:
-
Learning disabilities
-
Test anxiety
-
Poor standardized test taking history
-
-
Cultural and socioeconomic factors
Thank you for your time and best wishes in your
career. Feel free to be in touch.
